I used to work in television and I have made my share of on-air graphics. Plenty of people see them before they go on the air, but things move fast when you have a deadline every minute, and mistakes happen.
Thankfully, I never made a mistake as hilarious as this.
Seems like someone at a Denver TV station wanted to snag an image of Paula Broadwell’s biography of David Petraeus, which is called “All In.” Instead, the poor, benighted producer found an image of Patraues’s mistress-biographer (“misstographer?”) that someone had already gotten to with Photoshop. This aired on the news.
The TV station manager told Gawker: “Yes it happened. It was a mistake.”
